Our guide will pick up at the set time and place.You will then head towards GRANADA. During the journey the tour escort will inform you about the programme of the day and will comment upon the landscapes and the towns you will see on the way. once you arrive in Granada you will have 5 hours in the city. You will make sightseeing tour by bus in order to see the most interesting sites, including a stop at San Cristobal Viewpoint in the famous Quarter of Albaicin. From this point you will admire the best views of the city and of the Alhambrawith Sierra Nevada in the background. After the sightseeing tour, the guide will walk you to the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel in the city centre, where you will have at least 2 hours and 30 minutes free time (lunch time included) to enjoy this marvellous city on your own, make your shopping, etc.The guide will indicate the time and place for the meeting of those who have purchased the option with lunch included, for all the others free time to have lunch on their own.At the time and place set by our guide you will reach by coach the Monumental Complex of the Alhambra, declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where the Local Guide will be waiting for you and will help you discover this universally renowned monument. The visit includes the Palace of Charles V, the Generalife Gardens and the magnificent Nasrid Palaces with the Court of the Lions. The walk through the palaces and the gardens, which takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes, will make you go back in time and experience the unique atmosphere which inspired, among others, the American writer Washington Irwing, who wrote here his Tales of the Alhambra.At the time and place set by our guide the coach will take you back to the Costa del Sol.

Situated in the heart of Granada it had to show to the world the importance of the city and the important moment that was lived. Build in extraordinary dimensions, the Cathedral of Granada shows the most interesting Altar Major, completely round, without precedents in the history of the architecture and the most interesting collection of works of the important artist, Alonso Cano.

The Monumental Complex of the Alhambra

The Alhambra and The Generalife is situated in Granada, it was palace, A military base for the royal guard, residence of the sultans Nazaríes and of the high functionaries and servants to the Court and to the soldiers of elite (XIIIth to XIVth century). Nowadays it is a monument in which four zones are distinguished: the Palaces, the military zone or Fort, the city or Medina and the agrarian estate of the Generalife, all this in an environment of wooded zones, gardens, flowers and vegatable gardens. It integrates, in addition out-standing buildings of different epochs, as the Renaissance Palace of Carlos V, where you find the Museum of the Alhambra, with proceeding objects principally of the own Monument, and the Museum of Bella Artes.

The Royal Chapel

The Royal Chapel of Granada houses the mortal remains of Ferdinand V of Aragon and Isabella I of Castile. It also houses the remains of their heirs, Joanna I, Philip I and Prince Michael. After the conquest of Granada (1492) The Catholic Kings decided to build their final resting place on the site of the Mosque. Today the building contains: The Catedral, The Royal Chapal, The Lonja and The Church of the Sacrarium. Built in Gothic style between 1505-1517 and dedicated to Saint John the Baptist and Saint John the Evangelist.
